When are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is between 4:00 and 10:00 pm. Checkout is at 11:00 am.
How many people can stay?
Up to 13 overnight guests. Depending on the season, an extra guest fee per night may apply for each guest beyond 6. Tell us your real head count when you ask for dates so we can get the beds ready.
Where is the cabin?
In Bakersfield, Pennsylvania, in the Laurel Highlands near Seven Springs and Hidden Valley. We send the exact address and the door instructions once your booking is confirmed.
Is there air conditioning?
No. The cabin is set into the hillside and shaded by trees, and it cools down nicely with the windows open and fans running.
Can we bring a pet?
Sorry, no pets.
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking anywhere, including vaping and e-cigarettes.
Can we hold a party or event?
No. Parties and events are not allowed.
Is it good for babies and little kids?
Yes. We provide a high chair and a travel crib. Please bring your own sheets for the crib.
What about cell service and Wi-Fi?
Cell service can be spotty at the house. The Wi-Fi works well, and we send you the details before you arrive.
Do we need to bring firewood?
Yes, for the fire pit. Bring a few bundles, and keep an eye on the fire when it is lit.
What if it snows?
We provide a plow and shovel service when the depth requires it, and shovels are on hand for the walkways. Store skis and gear at the bottom of the basement steps.
Is there laundry?
Yes, a washer and dryer are in the house.
Where do we park?
There is a very large driveway with room for all of your cars.
How do I book directly?
Use the request form and we will reply by email. We confirm the details together before anything is final.
